Daylily - Montego Melonâ„¢
The Daylily 'Montego Melon', Hemerocallis 'TP 06-13', is an early-blooming daylily with soft yellow blooms on a more compact plant.  Because of its long bloom season, and multiple flowering cycles, this daylily is perfect for mass plantings and perennial beds! The compact grass-like foliage is rust resistant and matures to 15-18 inches, so it is considered a low growing daylily.  This rugged, adaptable, vigorous perennial endures in a garden for many years with little or no care. Daylilies adapt to a wide range of soil and light conditions.  They establish quickly, grow vigorously, and survive winters with little or no injury.  Individual flowers last only one day, but since each plant produces many buds, the total blooming time of a well-established clump may last more than a month.   Divide 'Montego Melon' every 3-5 years, or when the number of flower buds and the size of bloom begin to decline; divide in early spring.   Plant daylilies in sites that provide well-drained soil and plenty of sun. The 'Montego Melon' daylily can survive many harsh conditions that other plants cannot including: polluted city environments, slopes, poor and dry soils, near pavement that is salted in winter, and under Black Walnut trees (not affected by juglone). Use 'Montego Melon' daylily for color in shrub borders and in perennial beds.  Once established, the daylily can be an excellent groundcover on slopes because it has roots that hold soil against erosion; attracts butterflies! * Vigorous grower * Rugged * Rebloomer

Clematis - Patricia Ann Fretwell - DetailsClematis - Patricia Ann Fretwell - Sale Price: $42.75
Clematis Patricia Ann Fretwell, Clematis 'Patricia Ann Fretwell™', is the first double flowering red and pink clematis! The outer tepals are reddish pink, fading to pale pink at the edges, the inner tepals are palest pink with a narrow deep pink stripe.  The stamens are creamy-white. The double flowers are on the old wood in May and June followed by single flowers on the new growth in September. Clematis 'Patricia Ann Fretwell™' needs a supporting structure to grow properly.  Clematis is easy to grow in a rich, porous, alkaline soil with plenty of room for the roots to spread. Best performance is when the tops are in full sunlight and the roots are shaded, so apply generous mulch or a shallow-rooted ground cover near the base of the vine. Very reliable performers once established; they take a season or two.  Prune lightly above the new leaf buds in early spring and remove any dead or weak stems. The effect with the outer tepals being two-tone makes the Patricia Ann Fretwell very special! * Double flowers * Reliable * Easy to grow

Daylily - Cherry Candy - DetailsDaylily - Cherry Candy - Sale Price: $54.95
Hemerocallis Cherry Candy, Hemerocallis 'Cherry Candy', is an extended bloomer, so its flowers will remain open for at least 16 hours apiece! The lightly scented, 4¼ bloom of ‘Cherry Candy’ opens flat to show off its prominent bright red eye.  The rounded overlapping petals are a light golden orange and are lined with a very fine red edging.   The flowers appear on strong, well-branched scapes; can produce up to 30 buds per scape! Use this daylily for color in shrub borders and in perennial beds. Once established, the daylily can be an excellent groundcover on slopes because it has roots that hold soil against erosion; attracts butterflies.  ‘Cherry Candy’ also makes a beautiful floral arrangement.   Divide every 3-5 years, or when the number of flower buds and the size of bloom begin to decline.   Planted together in large numbers, they quickly crowd out weeds and make a carefree and colorful ground cover.   Daylilies grow best when planted in full sun to partial shade.  In areas that receive less than 6 hours of sun during the day, your daylilies will probably produce fewer and smaller blooms, and the foliage may not be as robust. Because it is a highly performing daylily with gorgeous color and a long blooming habit, ‘Cherry Candy’ is a pleasure to have in any garden! * Long blooming * Hardy * Carefree
