The Veronica 'Eveline', 'Veronica longifolia 'Eveline' USPP 14888, is one of the newer Veronicas out today. This easy to grow perennial has purplish-pink flower spikes that bloom throughout June to September. The deep green foliage turns a beautiful purple-red in the fall. Truly gorgeous! The highlights of black and purple patterns make it what it is. Best of all, the coloration is more intense during the winter months, not to mention being lightly fragrant. White flowers appear in the summer; however, Tiarella’s are not especially noted for their flowers. ‘Neon Lights’ has a plant height of 6-8” and a plant spread of 12-15”. Tiarella will do best in full shade and need average to moist soil. To create a more neat appearing plant, remove the old foliage before new leaves emerge. The plant clumps can be divided every 2 or 3 years in the spring. Try planting this popular perennial with Lamium ‘White Nancy’, Hosta ‘Patriot’ or ‘Japanese Painted Fern’ for color contrast. Neon Lights can be planted as a ground cover or mingled with other shade loving plants. This plant will add texture and color in rock gardens and looks wonderful with Veronica ‘Goodness Grows’, Tradescantia ‘Concord Grape’ or other purple blooming perennials. The clumps will spread over time to form a dense ground cover. Leaves are evergreen in warm winter climates, but will not do well in harsh winters. Oxalis - Strawberry - DetailsOxalis - Strawberry - Sale Price: $39.95
Oxalis Strawberry, Oxalis crassipes 'Rosea', is a popular shade plant (often called a shamrock) that just doesn't know when to quit blooming! Although it's a perennial, this plant blooms like an annual from late spring to early fall if kept moist.  Vivid green, clover-like leaves are dotted with bright pink flowers that butterflies adore and are nice in fresh bouquets. Oxalis 'Strawberry' forms a low mound that is the perfect size for edging or containers.  Like many oxalis, the leaves of this variety close up at night or when light levels are very low. It does not set viable seed, so there's no need to fear that it will become a nuisance in the garden.  This variety has been used in southern gardens for many years.  Oxalis plants are used in borders, beds, rock gardens and containers. Container grown plants should be kept just moist when dormant.  During the growing season, 'Strawberry' should have moderate watering. Does best in moist, rich soils and prefers soils with good drainage.  Being a prolific grower and bloomer with beautiful foliage and plenty of dainty blossoms, Oxalis 'Strawberry' can be grown as a houseplant or outdoors! * Prolific bloomer * House plant * Shade plant

Hosta - Great Expectations - DetailsHosta - Great Expectations - Sale Price: $56.95
The Hosta Great Expectations, 'Hosta sieboldiana', has puckered heart shaped leaves with creamy yellow centers and irregular blue-green edges.  This hosta is prized for its unique, large, textured leaves that have a puckered appearance. The white flowers bloom from July to August, and have a plant height of 24” and a spread of 36”.  Hostas provide bright color in shade with wonderful foliage. Hosta ‘Great Expectations’ needs to be planted in a full shade area in any moist, well-drained location.  This low care perennial is ideal for shady positions, tubs and patio pots, and one of the most popular landscape uses. A great choice for any beginner gardener! It grows best in moist, well-drained, highly organic soils with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5.  Sandy loam is better than clay because it provides more aeration for the roots. Plant ‘Great Expectations’ in an area that receives the right amount of light.  The leaves need some morning sun to bring the rich golden color out; too much sun will burn the leaves. ‘Great Expectations’ is most at home in shady, woodland settings or can be planted in groups of 3 to 5 in an area that needs lots of color! ‘Great Expectations’ will look terrific in a shade perennial garden when combined with hardy ferns, astilbe, bleeding hearts, and heucheras! * Heart shaped leaves * Hardy * Colorful foliage
