London Sycamore - Exclamation
London Sycamore - Exclamation London Sycamore - Exclamation, Platanus × acerifolia 'Morton Circle', is a symmetrical, upright pyramidal tree that has a low branching habit. This sycamore grows off of a strong central leader with exfoliating bark that is patchy cream and tan. A sycamore can be easily distinguished from other trees by its mottled exfoliating bark, which flakes off in great irregular masses, leaving the surface mottled, and greenish-white, gray and brown. ‘Exclamation’ has maple-like green foliage that turns yellow in fall. This tree is resistant to frost cracking and disease. It thrives in urban settings, is a rapid grower, and tolerates heat and drought. It can be planted in a wide range of soil conditions and in full sun to partial shade. The large leaves of ‘Exclamation’ are similar to those of a Sycamore but, unlike the Sycamore, they are resistant to the anthracnose disease. This sycamore is densely branched and one of the most upright London Plane in the market. * Mottled bark * Fall color * Rapid grower London Sycamore - Exclamation User Comments:There are currently 0 comments for London Sycamore - Exclamation |
