Geranium - Appleblossom
The Geranium Appleblossom, Geranium sanguineum 'Apple Blossom', is a unique variety that offers beautiful soft pink flowers that are complemented by distinct leaf zoning and an upright growth habit. The 'Apple Blossom' has excellent vigor and great landscape performance!   These full-sized plants are very showy in ground beds and containers because of their large, colorful pink blooms and silvery foliage.  Geraniums are grown in almost every region of the country. These plants have succulent leaves and stems and they are commonly called garden geraniums or zonal geraniums.  They are excellent in containers of all types from small pots to large tubs to window boxes.  Combine 'Apple Blossom' with other plants such as petunias and ivy. They do best when planted in ordinary well-drained soil; over fertilization results in excessive foliage and few flowers. Fertilize lightly every 2 weeks. Pinching of the shoots will promote bushiness; remove spent flowers to enhance flowering. 'Apple Blossom' is one of your best choices for use in hanging baskets!   * Hardy * Excellent vigor * Upright growth habit

Astilbe - Rheinland - DetailsAstilbe - Rheinland - Sale Price: $71.35
The Astilbe ‘Rheinland’, Astilbe japonica, has striking tall, feathery blooms of clear pink that rise above the foliage, adding a light, airy quality.  It has mid green foliage, changing to green in the spring.  The flowers contrast wonderfully with the glossy foliage. Astilbe ‘Rheinland’ blooms in midsummer and is 24” tall and has a plant width of 18”. Do not allow Astilbe ‘Rheinland’ to dry out since it prefers moist, humusy, organically rich soils.  It is most successfully grown in a shady area, but can tolerate some morning sun. A moist, well-drained area is a key feature for growing a healthy plant.  In order to keep Astilbe looking good for the next year, do not cut it back in the winter, (the old foliage helps protect the plant from winter damage), but prune in early spring. Astilbe is considered to be deer resistant and will attract hummingbirds. ‘Rheinland’ Astilbe can be used as cut flowers to make grand bouquets.   Plant this showy perennial for beautiful summer color in shady areas.   You will be delighted to see how this plant forms a graceful perennial border, or add to shade gardens with hosta’s and ferns! * Feathery blooms * Showy * Shade

Bleeding Heart - Specatabilis Alba - DetailsBleeding Heart - Specatabilis Alba - Sale Price: $42.75
The Bleeding Heart Specatabilis ‘Alba’, 'Dicentra specatabilis ‘Alba’, is a fast-growing perennial with white, heart-shaped flowers. ‘Alba’ has two distinguishing features that make it a little different from the rest. One is the wonderful white flowers that it produces, and two, the fern-like foliage is lime green rather than green. A clump forming plant, it has a plant height of 2-3’ and a width of 20”. This Bleeding Heart should be planted in full sun but will tolerate morning shade.  It is heat tolerant and needs moist soil.  Do not let it dry out. Specatabilis ‘Alba’ will bloom from May to September and is a major attractor to butterflies.  ‘Alba’ makes excellent cut flowers. The foliage does go dormant, so it is best to plant this bleeding heart among later developing perennials such as hostas and ferns, which will fill in as the bleeding heart foliage begins to die back. Being an old fashioned plant, this charming Bleeding Heart is a must in any landscape! * Disease and heat resistant * Clump forming * White heart-shaped flowers
