Clematis - Barbara Harrington - Sale Price: $42.75 Clematis Barbara Harrington, Clematis 'Barbara Harrington', has lovely cerise 4 flowers that have pointed petals with a darker border and contrasting yellow anthers. It has an exceptional free flowering habit and long bloom time: from late June through September. ‘Barbara Harrington’ looks stunning when planted with climbing roses!  This clematis needs a supporting structure to grow properly but will also grow over large shrubs, over walls, cover stumps, and make perfect cover ups for unsightly service areas. Clematis is easy to grow in a rich, porous, alkaline soil with plenty of room for the roots to spread.   Best performance is when the tops are in full sunlight and the roots are shaded, so apply generous mulch or a shallow-rooted ground cover near the base of the vine. Ligularia - Brit Marie - Sale Price: $42.75 The Ligularia Brit Marie Crawford, Ligularia dentate ‘Brit Marie’, is a wonderful yellow-orange, daisy-like flower with huge glossy maroon foliage that remains dark for most of the season.  (This plant was first discovered by Britt-Marie Crawford in Fife, Scotland.) ‘Brit Marie’ is a clump-forming herbaceous perennial that is grown not only for its showy purple-black leaves, but also for its summer display of bold daisy-like orange-yellow flowers! The foliage can be rounding, kidney-shaped, or triangular with a wavy margin.  The flowers appear on tall spikes and bloom from July to August.   ‘Brit Marie’ has a plant height of 3-4’ and a spread of 36-48”. It is treasured for its showy, dropping flowers and slender, bamboo-like foliage that changes from green, to copper, to rich brown. During the summer season the flowerheads shimmer and dance in the wind. Very attractive! Sea Oats is easy to grow in full sun or in the shade. The soil needs to be well-drained. Bleeding Heart - Specatabilis Alba - Sale Price: $42.75 The Bleeding Heart Specatabilis ‘Alba’, 'Dicentra specatabilis ‘Alba’, is a fast-growing perennial with white, heart-shaped flowers. ‘Alba’ has two distinguishing features that make it a little different from the rest. One is the wonderful white flowers that it produces, and two, the fern-like foliage is lime green rather than green. A clump forming plant, it has a plant height of 2-3’ and a width of 20”. This Bleeding Heart should be planted in full sun but will tolerate morning shade.  It is heat tolerant and needs moist soil.  Do not let it dry out.
