Black-Eyed Susan - Deamii
Black-Eyed Susan Deamii, Rudbeckia fulgida var. Deamii, is a larger, cheerier, and more colorful yellow-orange black “hatted” cone flower. The daisy-like flower petals have more orange color and appear on top of 2' tall stems in late summer.  Deamii adds fantastic color to a perennial border or can be used in mass plantings. The flower has blackish-brown centers and bloom in abundance from August to October.  After the flowers drop off, they leave the black cone which will bring birds and sound to a garden! Deamii prefers full sun to partial shade and moderately fertile, preferably heavy but well-drained soil. The colonies can be divided either in autumn or spring. This beautiful black-eyed Susan is an excellent choice for the middle of a late summer border. Display the Deamii in bold drifts in a sunny or partially shady site that doesn't dry out over summer.  With its toothed, mid-green leaves and excellent long lasting cut-flowers, this plant will certainly become one of your favorites! * Hardy * Daisy-like petals * Orange color

Daylily - Caribbean Coral - DetailsDaylily - Caribbean Coral - Sale Price: $49.95
The Daylily 'Caribbean Coral', Hemerocallis 'TP 06-14', is an early-blooming daylily with bright orange blooms on a more compact plant. It has a long blooming season, and its multiple flowering cycles are perfect for mass plantings and perennial beds. The compact grass-like foliage is Rust resistant and it matures to 15-18 inches tall. Use as an accent plant, in borders or in mass plantings; grows well near water gardens and ponds. Daylilies can be planted as single plants when you are doing a mass planting, or in groups of 2 or 3 together which form clumps. Good soil health is a key factor in growing great daylilies. Daylilies do best with a pH between 6.5 and 7 (neutral to slightly acid). In most cases, increasing the organic matter in your soil will go a long way toward bringing your soil's pH into the proper range. Daylilies grow best when planted in full sun to partial shade . In areas that receive less than 6 hours of sun during the day, your daylilies will probably produce fewer and smaller blooms, and the foliage may not be as robust.

The deciduous leaves that radiate outward from a leaf stem, like spokes on a wheel.   Each leaflet is about 3-7 long and an inch or two wide.  The leaves turn fiery red in fall and are very showy. The individual flowers are tiny and inconspicuous, and arranged in elaborate long-stemmed clusters, with each flower at the tip of its own flower stem. The berries are blue-black, less than a half-inch across and much relished by birds.  Easy to grow, the Virginia Creeper can get out of hand if not managed. Also known as Woodbine, it will send up sprouts and seed itself, and established plantings may smother shrubs and trees.  Virginia creeper will thrive in most soils, in sun or partial shade, with or without a structure to climb on. Virginia creeper is favored for its brilliant fall foliage and as a maintenance-free ground cover.  When allowed to clamber over trees or other tall structures, it develops elongated leafy festoons that are especially showy.  Where there is nothing to climb, it attaches to the ground with adventitious roots, and makes an excellent cover for slopes or other places where grass is not practical or desired. * Fast growing * High climbing * Brilliant fall color
