It has deep orange flesh with a smooth golden yellow, orange blush. It is used for drying, desserts, preserves and canning, or excellent for fresh eating right off the tree. Moorpark ripens from early July to late August. Self fertile. The apricots ripen quickly and should be picked when a little firm since just a half a day in the house they are more than ripe.
