Accolade® Elm
The Accolade® Elm, Ulmus 'Morton', has an excellent resistance to Dutch Elm disease. This tree has an upright, spreading shape and is a large, broadleaf deciduous tree with a graceful vase shape similar to American elm.  It is a fast growing tree and the leaves are simple and a glossy, dark green color that change to yellow in the fall.  With good sun exposure fall color becomes a bright yellow. Elms prefer full sun and adapt easily to extremes in pH, moisture, wind and heat.  They do prefer well-drained, sandy, loamy or clay soils.  The aggressive roots can probably break sidewalks and raise pavement if trees are improperly located. The Accolade Elm has an excellent disease and pest resistance, drought tolerance, and good yellow fall color.  It has a rapid growth rate and adaptability to urban conditions. Accolade® Elm creates an excellent shade tree for larger yards or street plantings. * Upright * Bright fall color * Excellent shade tree

Kousa Dogwood - DetailsKousa Dogwood - Sale Price: $96.35
Stunning Spring Display, Edible Fruit and Fall Color The Kousa Dogwood (Cornus kousa chinesis) is a deciduous tree with a specialized leaf system (bract), that creates a showy white appearance throughout the summer.  This tree would look stunning planted in small groupings along your home or as a focal point in your front yard.  Your Dogwood’s 4-inch, dark green leaves will appear in spring, but it’s in late spring when the real show begins.  Pointed bracts of 4-petaled white flowers will appear, giving this tree a unique show-stopping appearance.  As an added bonus, 1-inch, round red berries will begin to appear in the summer and be ready for a fall harvest.  Sweet and juicy, these berries are a favorite for wine makers, but can also be eaten straight from the tree.   As fall approaches, your Dogwood will transform from green to a vibrant red/burgundy splash of color for your landscape.  Even when those leaves have come and gone, your remaining berries will still dangle from the branches, like an early holiday display right in your yard. The Dogwood has a horizontal branching structure that reaches all the way to the base, forming a natural pyramidal shape.  It can reach heights of 15-30 ft and spread to 20 ft wide.  This particular Dogwood has a better disease tolerance than many other flowering Dogwoods, and is generally hardy and easy to care for.  Deer won’t like this tree, but birds certainly will…and so will you! * Unique spring/summer display* Edible fruit* Fall color

Little Leaf Linden - DetailsLittle Leaf Linden - Sale Price: $56.95
The Little Leaf Linden tree, 'Tilia cordata ', is a very good lawn shade tree and is ideally suited to home situations.  Its pyramidal to pyramidal-rounded shape and dense foliage make it an excellent landscape tree. The leaves are glossy, dark green, heart-shaped and appear in spring,  turning yellow or yellow-green in the fall.  As a rule, shade trees don't have very interesting flowers or a scent, but this hardy ‘Little Leaf’ Linden is the exception to the rule!  The small, fragrant yellowish flowers appear in June.  Small, round seeds are also produced, and they persist well into winter.   ‘Little Leaf’ Linden is widely used as a street tree due to its rapid growth rate, and often for residential landscaping.  The ‘Little Leaf’ Linden is fairly tolerant to a wide range of site conditions and requires little maintenance.  It tolerates clay soils better than many tree species and is fairly tolerant of pollution. The tree grows in sun or partial shade, and will tolerate alkaline soil if it is moist, and it transplants well; not particularly tolerant of drought. ‘Little Leaf’ has many fantastic attributes, and one of the best is that the leaves remain green on the tree long after other trees have shed! * Pyramidal shape * Fall color * Low maintenance
