The silvery-rose flower plumes that resemble foxtails are borne July through September; turns pinkish brown in the fall. Being drought tolerant, it is a Midwest favorite. The cascading, narrow leaves on this plant have a fountain shape. Fountain grass maintains its lovely leaves and flowers through January. Spread a layer of mulch or other organic material 2 to 3 inches deep around the entire plant. Water well, once a week in dry summers. Hosta - Silver Bay - Sale Price: $39.95 Hosta Silver Bay, Hosta 'Silver Bay', is one of the best new blue hostas on the market, and one of the most talked about hostas in recent years!   The heart-shaped, intense, silver blue leaves form an attractive mound.  The leaves are also thick and heavily corrugated.  Pale lavender flowers top the mound in mid-late summer.  'Silver Bay' is a real winner!
